A good way to keep the corn chips fresh is either a Tupperware containter or ziplock bags. You can keep them in the fridge, but since it is dried food, it should be ok in a cool, dry place.

Re: The New Toy

YUMMY! you will LOVE that thing! blend on brave warrior princess!
deb

Re: The New Toy

I'm just now embarking on a raw food journey. I'm in early stages, researching blenders. It's good to read your post about the Blendtec!

..And those delicious corn chips!!! Those look so good! How long do they stay fresh (if they aren't eaten up too quickly ;) ? And do you keep them in the fridge? I'm looking forward to trying this recipe!

Re: The New Toy

I've heard about that! I'm not sure if I have that setting though, I think I need to go over the instruction manual.

Re: The New Toy

guess what? the blendtec will grind your flaxseeds up with such skill! i put it on "grind grain".

Re: The New Toy

Yeah, its too bad, but it gave me an excuse to buy a new one! :)

Re: The New Toy

UGH! The recipe sounds delicious! The tofu in your recipe is probably there to add a creamy consistency, right? The avocado and coconut oil did a splendid job on that! Thanks for the recipe idea and the comment!

Re: The New Toy

Thanks Earthmother! My favorite raw chocolate pie recipe has bananas, tofu, agave, and peanut/almond butter. It is SO TASTY!

Re: The New Toy

Oooooooo, jealous.

But, happy for you too.
