The equator is difficult to live near, isn't it? Thanks so much for all your words of support. Its good to know that someone else has been through something similar, even though we weren't there nearly as long as you were. It certainly does make you appreciate home more.

I will always remember our awesome times on St.Thomas fondly, my hubby has to remind me about the things that drove me crazy! That first year was close to hell (or maybe just the equator) as I've known, it is so HARD to not have a support system. Makes you appreciate what you have so much more! Glad you made it out alive, look back on the hard times and laugh! Most people never leave their comfort zones...!

Thanks doohickie! We did have a lot of hard times, but we had some good times as well. As long as we can learn from the experience, then I'm ok with it!

Sounds like you had some tough times down there. I'm relieved to hear you made it out together. Many people never even attempt something like you did these last few months; even if it was a nightmare (which it kind of sounds like it was), you bring back experiences that most people can't even imagine.

Regroup, recharge, and relax... more adventures await.
